KL Incentive Trip

Nu Life’s 9th International Incentive Trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
March 12–15, 2009

Four hardworking Philippine delegates joined hundreds of other Nu Life partners from other countries to Nu Life’s 9th International Incentive Trip in Kuala Lumpur last March. Accompanied by Ms. Mat Avanceña, the delegates, Dra Simeona Virtusio, Dr Nestor Virtusio, Ms. Marivic Cuyogan, and Mr. Jun Ivan Recentes, left Manila on the evening of the 12th and enjoyed three days in the multi-cultural city.

Throughout the trip, the members participated in various Nu Life events. These included the Malaysia Nu Life office visit, dinner with the company founders, the Sales Rally, and the exciting team building where the delegates bonded with the other members through several exciting games.

The members were also treated to a quick tour of the city, visiting several attractions like the Istana Negara (the official residence of the Malaysian king), Tugu Negara (National Monument) and several temples and mosques.

Food was also a big part of their trip. During their city tour, they stopped by Beryl’s for some chocolate tasting and shopping, before heading to a nearby market to satisfy their cravings for durian.

On their last day, the group stopped for a photo-op in front of the KLCC Petronas Tower, and then drove up to the cold weather of Genting Highlands. There, they spent the afternoon sharing a meal, looking at the attractions, taking a quick visit to the casino, and finally taking a breathtaking ride on the Genting Skyway—the world’s fastest and South East Asia’s longest cable car.

The Philippine delegates ended their getaway with another yummy durian treat and an authentic Malaysian dinner at Nasi Kandar Pelita, before taking their flight back to Manila.
